Cie FRAKT’ is in residency at Artilac from 8 to 12 June, and invites us on Friday evening, after the Küfa Bouffe Pop, to a glimpse into their ongoing work.

To exist under the gaze of others, we sometimes fabricate other versions of ourselves. But to what extent do these versions protect us – and at what point do they take over completely, until we sacrifice ourselves on the altar of visibility? FRAKT’ continues its research on social masks. Sometimes present, sometimes erased, manipulating or manipulated, the two performers move through an unstable space where identities shift, split, meet and contaminate one another. Body, masks, puppet and sound design compose a troubled fable whose landmarks waver – where what appears could just as easily already have dissolved.
