Intimate Manifesto — Concert du Frigo

Intimate Manifesto is a longing for more sensitivity, empathy and the subtle. The music grows out of a four-piece collective and tells of flatmate empowerment, of plants hanging above the bathtub, of slowing down and idle muse. Songs turn into soundscapes, turn into songs, turn into soundscapes. The attentive listening in their playing speaks of intimacy as much as the lyrics themselves. Your ears drift imperceptibly from one to the other.

Intimate’s playground is made of saxophone, guitars, synthesizer, drums, voices, effects and field recordings. Their own mixing between amp, monitor and PA decides where, and to what extent, the sound appears in the room: close and small, or wide and large. The spectrum reaches from silence to noise, from morning songs to soundscapes.
