*Presentation in French, German translation for the discussion
Today, we live under the pressure to succeed. To succeed is to devote oneself body and soul to competition in order to rise above others. Some, however, refuse to climb the ladder and compromise with power. The refusal to succeed has been and continues to be widely practised and discussed within the anarchist movement, from Michel Bakunin and Élisée Reclus to the struggles of today. This collection offers an exploration of different aspects of this radical principle of insubordination.
